International Tourism Fairs Kick Off
Positive Start at CMT Stuttgart
The participation of our territory in the main international tourism fairs is off to a very positive start.
The CMT in Stuttgart, taking place from 17 to 25 January 2026, is the first event in a year-long promotional program that will continue with B2C fairs and promotional-commercial meetings with operators and industry professionals.
During the first weekend, approximately 72,000 visitors attended the fair, confirming strong public interest in new travel ideas, authentic experiences and nature-based holidays. A very encouraging start for the world’s largest public tourism and leisure fair, and an important signal for our destination as well.
Visitors showed great interest in our cycling tourism, river tourism and outdoor experiences.
Until Sunday, 25 January, you can find us at the Visit Emilia Romagna stand, where we are presenting Ferrara, Comacchio, and the Po Delta, showcasing a destination full of identity, where cultural heritage, landscapes, and slow tourism come together.
The CMT is also a key event for camping and caravanning, a growing sector that fits perfectly with the characteristics of our territory, which offers open spaces, slow itineraries and ideal structures for outdoor holidays.
Participation in international fairs is a crucial opportunity to meet buyers and specialized media, as well as an important chance to listen to the market.
After Stuttgart, the calendar continues with FITUR Madrid and FREE Munich, where we will continue to promote Ferrara, Comacchio, and the Po Delta on international markets, highlighting an authentic, sustainable and experience-oriented tourist offer.
