It Really Happens Here: the 2026 Campaign Promoting Our Territory!

It Really Happens Here: the 2026 Campaign Promoting Our Territory!

Comacchio and its 7 Lidos in All Their Genuine Beauty

We live immersed in a constant flow of perfect images, places that seem straight out of a dream, experiences designed to look irresistible. And more and more often, while watching them, we naturally ask ourselves: is it really like that?It is precisely from this question that Visit Comacchio’s new 2026 campaign was born. Our answer is: “Qui succede davvero! - It Really Happens Here!" Incredible moments truly happen here, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes: experiences that do not need to be invented. Our invitation is simple, yet very clear: what you see is real. Everything we share in our storytelling is true. It is not staged, filtered or imagined. It really happens, every single day, in Comacchio and its seven lidos. There are moments that, if we saw them on a screen, we would think had been carefully staged. The Carnival on the Water, with boats parading through the canals, even in its summer edition. A snack on the beach, with the sound of the sea and time slowing down. A sunrise yoga session, when the light is still soft and everything is silent. An aperitif along the canals, in that suspended atmosphere that exists only here. Flamingos moving freely in their natural habitat. The landscapes of the Po Delta Park, where land and water meet and constantly transform each other. They are powerful, evocative images. But above all, they are real. And that makes all the difference.Visit Comacchio Chooses a Different Way to Tell the Story of the TerritoryWith this campaign, Visit Comacchio chooses not to force the idea of a perfect destination, but to tell the story of the area exactly as it is… and that is more than enough. Digital communication should not create unrealistic expectations, but rather show what truly exists and invite people to experience it first-hand.There are details that cannot fully be explained: the silence of the lagoons, the light reflecting on the water, the anticipation of a sunset, the feeling of finally having time again. These are things you can only understand once you are here.Ours Is Not Just a Summer Proposal, but a Lifestyle (and a Way of Travelling!)“It Really Happens Here” is not simply a claim connected to summer: it is a broader perspective on the territory and all its nuances. Comacchio is not just a destination, but a place where people can reconnect with more natural rhythms, where slowness, care and contact with nature become part of the experience in every season of the year. The truth is simple: you have to be here.In a world where everything can seem carefully constructed, Comacchio chooses authenticity. No filters, no artifices. Because here, there is no need to imagine. It really happens here.

A SPASS – Discover Romagna by Bus

From the Po Delta to the hills, Romagna tells its story by bus

There's a new way to experience Romagna this summerA SPASS – Discover Romagna by Bus has officially launched: a project by Visit Romagna and Start Romagna that, from 3 June to 10 September 2026, turns the bus into a genuine tool for discovering the real Romagna. Not a transfer service, not a shuttle, a fully integrated programme of guided excursions weaving together sustainable travel, culture, food and wine, nature, and local traditions into one seamless experience, open to everyone. The name says it all: "andé a spass" in the Romagnol dialect means to stroll without a care, to follow your curiosity wherever it leads. An invitation to explore slowly, honestly, and unforgettably.Built for today's travellerA SPASS was born from a simple observation: more and more visitors arrive on the Romagna Riviera by train or plane, deliberately choosing to leave the car behind. This project is the answer: a complete, well-organised, and sustainable way to explore the region without one. Expert guides, bilingual accompaniers for international guests, and a rich, varied calendar make A SPASS the kind of thing you book without a second thought, even if you've never been to Romagna before. It also connects with Start Romagna's SmartPass and Rail SmartPass ( unlimited travel on regional buses and trains throughout your stay) turning every holiday into a truly free, car-free experience. One pass. One hundred possibilities. From a single ticket, starting at €25 per person, with family rates available) visitors access a programme of 100 excursions across 40 destinations spread along the valleys at the heart of the project: Valconca, Valmarecchia, Valle del Rubicone, Valle del Savio, Valle del Montone, Bassa Romagna, Valle del Lamone, Valle del Bidente, Valle del Senio, and — of course — the Po Delta Park. Two departures every week, in formats designed to suit every pace and preference:Morning half-day — 9:00 to 13:00Afternoon — 18:00 to 23:00Late evening — 20:30 to 00:30Full day — 9:00 to 18:30Departure points: Lidi di Comacchio, Lidi Ravennati, Cervia, Cesenatico, Gatteo Mare, Bellaria Igea Marina, Rimini Nord, Rimini Sud, Riccione, Cattolica, and Misano Adriatico.Stronger togetherA SPASS is not a standalone initiative. It is the result of a broad collaboration between Visit Romagna, Start Romagna, the Emilia-Romagna Region, participating Municipalities, the Chambers of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena, Rimini, Ravenna, and Ferrara, and the Local Action Groups Delta 2000, L'Altra Romagna, and Valli Marecchia e Conca.
