The much-anticipated Comacchio Eel Festival returns this autumn with its 27th edition, transforming the charming canals and streets of Comacchio into a vibrant celebration of local flavors and heritage across three weekends: September 27–28, October 4–5, and 11–12, 2025.
A must-visit event for food lovers, cultural explorers, and anyone fascinated by the authentic traditions of Italy’s lagoon towns. The undisputed star of the festival is the eel, a culinary symbol deeply rooted in the area's history and identity.

A lively street market winding through the historic center, from the ancient Manifattura dei Marinati to the Trepponti Bridge, featuring local food, artisan crafts, antiques, vintage items, and collectibles.
