Comacchio lights up with magic and welcomes the festive season with a calendar full of emotions.

From the heart of the historic center to the surrounding localities, the entire area transforms with enchanting lights, melodic atmospheres and fairy-tale settings that turn every stroll into an experience to remember.

The inauguration of the Christmas illuminations, scheduled for 7 December in Piazzetta Trepponti, will officially open a month of events across canals, squares and villages: traditional boat markets, nativity scenes on the water, family shows, ice-skating, themed villages and musical appointments.

The major highlights will not be missing: the spectacular New Year’s celebration of lights and music, the arrival of the Befana, and many events dedicated to children, who will have the chance to meet Santa Claus, the Elves and beloved fairy-tale characters.

An authentic and engaging atmosphere where tradition and creativity come together to offer residents and visitors the magic of Christmas “Comacchio-style”, surrounded by the unique charm of its bridges and waterways.
