Birthday of Lido di Pomposa and Lido degli Scacchi
Pitoch Carnival Parade
Two beaches, one big celebration. The seafront lights up with colour, music and joy as Lido di Pomposa and Lido degli Scacchi celebrate their birthday together, with the return of the historic Pitoch Carnival Parade.
A procession that winds along the coast in a swirl of masks, sound and festive spirit, building to a midnight finale: fireworks from Bagno Sagano will light up the sky over Lido degli Scacchi, bringing the evening to a spectacular close.
The programme
Saturday, August 8
9:00 pm — Departure from Piazzale Gallanti, Lido di Pomposa. The parade travels the length of the seafront to the funfair at Lido degli Scacchi.
Midnight — Fireworks display from Bagno Sagano, Lido degli Scacchi.
