Festa dell'Ospitalità
47th edition
On August 14, the harbour canal of Porto Garibaldi lights up for one of the most anticipated evenings of the summer: the Festa dell'Ospitalità, now in its 47th edition. An event that brings together flavour, music and tradition, in a spirit of genuine conviviality.
The star of the evening is freshly grilled blue fish, served free of charge, alongside slices of watermelon and melon: a simple, genuine tribute to the taste of summer. Rounding out the programme are food stalls, a market stretching the length of the harbour canal, live music, and the photographic exhibition "Magnavacca dal 1900", curated by the Famia ad Magnavacca, a visual journey through the history and identity of this seafaring village.
The evening closes at midnight, as fireworks light up the sky above the sea.
