The Park and the Sea

The itinerary just a stone's throw from the sea in the province of Ferrara is full of stops between art, woods and nature, in the most significant places of the Po Delta Park.
From south to north you touch the Comacchio Valleys, the famous lagoons where eels and thousands of species of birds live, including the beautiful pink flamingos.
Inland you can admire the historic center of Comacchio, furrowed by canals, with the imposing Trepponti and its museums.
On the coast, thanks to the new bicycle paths, you cross the Lidi di Comacchio, the seven seaside resorts ideal for summer vacations.
Past Lido di Volano, with its dense pine forest and the Po Nature Reserve, you reach the small oasis of Cannevié-Porticino and the Taglio della Falce locality, where you take the bicycle-pedestrian corridor into the Gran Bosco della Mesola, for a pleasant ride in the shade of holm oaks and along the coastal dunes of the Sacca di Goro.
