The 56-km-long route offers a unique view of the Valleys.

Passing Ponte San Pietro, along embankment roads you pass the Foce Fishing Station, Casone Donnabona and Oasi Valle Zavelea. It then continues along the Argine Agosta until it reaches the Boscoforte Peninsula, home to Delta-Camargue white horses. The itinerary continues by taking the Argine degli Angeli, the spectacular 5.4-kilometer-long footbridge over the water that leads up to the Bellocchio Fishing Station. Crossing the Romea state highway via an underpass, you reach Lido di Spina and through the Lido degli Estensi waterfront to the ferry connecting with Porto Garibaldi. From here it is possible to conclude the itinerary by following two possible alternatives: from Lido degli Estensi you proceed as far as Comacchio, skirting the embankment that leads to the Saline, where the splendid pink flamingos find refuge; while the second opportunity involves departing from the canal port of Porto Garibaldi and following the bicycle path that runs along Via Marina and reaches the center of Comacchio.

The itinerary alternates between purely paved or unpaved bicycle paths and sections on mixed traffic roads (paved)
