According to tradition, Giuseppe Garibaldi landed here on August 3, 1849. Today Lido delle Nazioni is one of the most dynamic resorts of the Seven Lidi, characterized by wide streets, stores and beaches easily accessible from the waterfront.
Its symbol is Lago delle Nazioni, a large man-made reservoir of about 100 hectares and the sports center of the coast: sailing, canoeing, running events and cycling enliven the area throughout the year. The beaches are well-equipped and particularly family-friendly, thanks to games, swimming pools and areas dedicated to children.
Piazza Italia is the heart of evening life and summer events, while those seeking relaxation can take advantage of a modern spa facility with salso-bromo-iodine water.
Don't miss
Garibaldi's Hut and the Acciaioli scenic road along Valle Bertuzzi, where profiles of flamingos, Delta Camargue horses and bodies of water make their way amid striking scenery at sunset.
