Lido di Spina

History and facts

Lido di Spina is the southernmost among the seven Lidi di Comacchio, and is a very elegant and residential place: large tree-lined avenues, cottages deep in greenery and streets named after important painters.

Lido di Spina bears the name of the ancient Etruscan city that once stood in the area and is a real "citadel of holidays", perfectly equipped for any kind of modern tourism needs, in a picturesque lagoon environment of great interest where to spend days of rest and fun.

One of the most characteristic aspects of Lido di Spina is its huge pinewood: right inside there are the majority of modern and various accommodation, almost camouflaged in green.

It is a quiet place, ideal for families, where you can make nice strolls inside the vast pine forest which leads directly to the beach.

Its two-hundred-meters large shore hosts many equipped seaside resorts where you can spend nice days of rest and amusement at the seaside: bar, restaurants, play areas for children, fields for beach volley, five-a-side soccer, mini-golf, tennis courts, go-karts, gyms, boats and paddle boats rental, windsurfing courses, and much more.

Lido di Spina is not only seashore, but also local cuisine, based on tasty fish and seafood dishes.

In the evening Lido di Spina turns into a place where you can enjoy 24/7, from the beach to the several pubs, discos and nightspots: for days that seems to never have an end.

What to visit
