There's an hour, before the day takes over, when Comacchio and its Sette Lidi reveal themselves without hurry. The light is still low, the air carries the salt of the beach and the brackish scent of the valleys, and the silence isn't empty: it's full of gulls waking up, of nets moving slowly, of water reflecting the first colours.

Those who choose to rise early are rewarded with a landscape that, by noon, simply no longer exists.

Some arrive on the beach with a mat under their arm and find their balance practising yoga, breathing to the rhythm of the waves as the sun slowly rises over the Lidi. A little further on, someone else lets themselves be lulled by a different melody, that of Dawn Music, the concerts by the sea that, until 23 August, turn the shoreline into a natural stage, where notes blend with the sound of the surf and every chord seems to be born from the sea itself.

Those seeking a more intimate silence head towards the Valli di Comacchio, where a canoe glides slowly over water still asleep. It's there that the dawn light plays its most beautiful colours, while herons and flamingos stand out against a sky that shifts shade with every stroke: an experience lived with bated breath, almost on tiptoe.

For those who prefer to keep their feet on solid ground, a walk along evocative trails, surrounded by pine forests and unique landscapes, offers an energising awakening that helps reactivate body and mind, one step at a time.

And for those who, finally, want to see Comacchio from another perspective, a boat trip along the coast gently accompanies the dawn, gliding parallel to the shore as the Lidi wake up one after another. From the water, the land tells its own story in a new way: the first light touches the houses, the beach stretches as far as the eye can see, and the coastline reveals all its quiet beauty, still asleep.

Comacchio, at dawn, isn't just something to see: it's something to live, one experience at a time, before the rest of the world wakes up.
