Carnival on the Water – Summer Edition

On a magical summer evening, the historic centre of Comacchio comes alive once again with the enchanting Carnival on the Water, one of the most distinctive and fascinating events of the lagoon town.

For one night, the canals become the stage for a spectacular floating parade: illuminated and beautifully decorated allegorical boats glide beneath bridges and past historic buildings, transforming the heart of Comacchio into a vibrant setting of colours, music and celebration.

Each boat tells its own story and theme, drawing visitors and participants into an engaging atmosphere where tradition, creativity and conviviality come together in a truly unique event.

The summer edition of the Carnival on the Water offers a special opportunity to experience the historic centre from a new perspective, surrounded by performances, entertainment and the evocative charm of the canals by night.

​For the occasion, the Museo Delta Antico will be open continuously from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm.
