There is a bond as old as humanity itself, the one between birds of prey and the civilisations that observed, feared and revered them. One summer evening in the garden of the Museo Delta Antico brings that story to life.
Friday 11 July, 9.30–11.00 pm
Falconer Alessio Iaboni joins the Museum's director, Marco Bruni, for a journey through history, archaeology and symbolism spanning the centuries, exploring what these birds truly meant to past civilisations.
A highlight of the evening comes with the darkness: the night flight of a barn owl, silent and graceful, long wrapped in an aura of mystery and seen as a symbol of wisdom, night and the sacred.
A different way to experience the Museum, where storytelling, nature and tradition meet.
Free admission, booking required.
