From 5 June to 31 July, the garden of the Casa Museo Remo Brindisi will become an elegant open-air cultural salon, where literature, music and conversation come together in a rich programme of events dedicated to lovers of books and the arts.
“Librandosi” is a literary festival inviting visitors to enjoy inspiring evenings featuring authors, storytelling and in-depth discussions, set within the unique atmosphere of the Remo Brindisi House Museum.
Opening the programme on 5 and 12 June will be “A Toast to Reading”, a literary marathon with participating authors, conceived as a shared experience of listening, dialogue and community engagement.
On 13 June, renowned television journalist Serena Bortone will present her novel Le dirimpettaie, published by Rizzoli.
On 10 July, the spotlight turns to the passion and elegance of tango with a special evening dedicated to the great Argentine tradition, featuring Patricia Hilliges and Matteo Panero, widely regarded among Italy’s leading tango performers. The evening will be hosted by Michele Balboni, author of three books devoted to this fascinating artistic world.
On 24 July, the festival will host Giallo Ferrara, an event exploring the origins of the Ferrara crime fiction school, bringing together four authors in conversation moderated by publisher Fausto Bassini.
The festival concludes on 31 July with Paolo Roversi, founder of the Giallo Suzzara festival and winner of the Scerbanenco Prize, who will present his latest novel L’ultima cosa che sai (Marsilio Editore), alongside Leonardo Romani and Erika Cantinotti.
All events will take place in the garden of the Remo Brindisi House Museum, Via N. Pisano 51, Lido di Spina.
