The Lidi di Comacchio are located within the Regional Park of the Po Delta; they are characterized by fine sand and shallow water with first-class accommodation facilities.

Lido degli Estensi is definitely the most popular of the seven Lidos and perhaps the best known; it is also the largest one and bears the name of the Este family that ruled Ferrara for a long time. What makes it particularly attractive is the large number of facilities: from the many shops for shopping of all kinds and for every pocket, up to various clubs, pubs, venues and disco pub.An equally important attraction is the very wide shore, which hosts numerous seaside resorts equipped with each service, including games, gyms, entertainment.
Lido di Spina is the southernmost Lido and the most residential and elegant one: wide tree-lined avenues and pine forests, houses surrounded by greenery and streets that bear the names of great painters. This beach is characterized by various night spots that every weekend attract many young people from the whole Ferrara territory.
On the other hand, Lido di Volano is the northernmost among the seven Lidos, it is characterized by one of the widest expands of sand of the Adriatic Riviera and boasts a great pinewood behind the beach. Here the Po river flows into the sea, creating a location full of priceless natural resources and therefore ideal for those wholove walking and fishing. Lido di Volano is the least developed among the seven Lidos, and here lies its strength, making it an ideal for those who love the unspoiled and uncontaminated places.
Porto Garibaldi, once upon a time called Magnavacca, was established in 1919 after the landing of Giuseppe Garibaldi and his wife Anita that took place in 1849. It is home to the commercial port, the realm of gastronomy and fishing and the place from which, during the whole summer, motor vessels leave for visits to the Po Delta and for deep-sea fishing for mackerel.Strolling along the harbor you can see the fishermen engaged in their daily activities and admire the colorful boats, moored a few meters from the town center.
Each Lido is different from the other for their appearance, features and offered services: they meet the various needs of the many tourists who each year decide to spend here the summer holidays.
