Brush strokes of history and nature
The visit to the Church of San Lorenzo and the Capuchin Monastery opens a route in the centre of Argenta. Below, passing through the Civic Museum, continue for 1 km from the centre, up to the Church of San Giorgio. Going southbound you can do naturalistic observations at the birdwatching hut located on Cassa Campotto bank, ahead you come easily to the Casino of Campotto, house of the Argenta Valleys Museum.
Water, sky and bikes
From the Church of San Giorgio to the Casino Campotto and the Museum of the Valleys of Argenta, the suggested cycling route goes near the embankment along the Bassarone and the Campotto overflow basins: about 8 km of path that allows you to gaze out over the entire surface dotted with water lilies, gentians of water, reeds and tifeti.
All the colours of green
Parking in the area adjacent to Vallesanta, where there is an active bicycle rental service, on Thursdays, public holidays and the day before, you can go by bike on the entire 9 km perimeter of the valley admiring the characteristic wet meadow.
During the week the practicable circuit consists of a stretch of 6 km.
